'SNP not selling off ferry services'

MSP Kenneth Gibson said today that Labour politicians are wrong to say that the SNP government is selling off ferry services.
IN a statement to the Largs & Millport News SNP local member Mr Gibson said: "Some weeks ago the News published a letter from Transport Minister Keith Brown MSP refuting Cllr Alex Gallagher's repeated claims about Clyde Ferry Routes.
"Despite this, Cllr Gallagher and his colleague Cllr McNamara repeated them. Cllr Gallagher doesn't exactly have his finger on the pulse regarding ferries. In the spring he was still demanding publication of the draft ferries plan which I had previously pointed out last December had already been published!"
Mr Gibson added: "As Mr Brown made clear on 07 June:"The Scottish Government has no plans to either privatise or unbundle Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd."
