A leading member of the Green Party will be attending the Yes Scotland public meeting is scheduled for Monday 17 March, at 7 for 7.30pm, at the Lounge, in Largs Main Street to discuss the forthcoming referendum.
The speakers at the event include SNP MSP Annabelle Ewing, Green MSP Patrick Harvie, who is co-convenor of the party, and Ivan McKee, Director of Business for Scotland.
Cunninghame North MSP Kenneth Gibson has also confirmed that he will be in attendance at the meeting.
The Yes Areas in North Ayrshire are organising a number of events over the coming months including a visit of deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to Beith on Tuesday April 8, and an event at West Kilbride Village Hall on Saturday 10 May from 2-4pm with more details still to be announced.
