Largs Flower Club will be taking part in a flower festival in Glasgow Cathedral on 23 and 24 July to celebrate the Commonwealth Games.
The festival will be organised by the Scottish Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, and all flower clubs in Scotland have been asked to take part in what is described as “a wonderful opportunity to promote Glasgow and Scotland”.
The theme of the festival will be roots, fruits and shoots — and the nominated design area for Largs Flower Club is at No.47 which is the front area of the cathedral. There will be at least 70 clubs taking part, so this will be a fabulous display of floral art, and well worth a visit.
