Crossroads Caring Scotland Largs and District have recently moved from 2 Tron Place to 9 Stanlane Place in Largs.

Service Manager AnnMarie Henderson said: “We were in Tron Place for 26 years thanks to THE kindness of Mr Robin McTaggart who gave us premises rent free. We are in a more accessible office now for our service users as there are no stairs.

“Crossroads are a registered charity and we are managed by our Head Office in George Square. Glasgow, who keep us up to date with policies procedures, changes in legislation, training, etc.

“We are on North Ayrshire Council’s Accredited Providers List and are registered and inspected by Care Inspectorate. All staff have P.V.G. from Disclosure Scotland.

“Anyone can refer a service user family, friend, GP etc, I would then visit to assess needs and allocate a care attendant.” Crossroads care attendants are trained to give all sorts of care as required in people’s homes. This can be personal care, outings for hospital GP appointments, giving a carer a break, shopping service either with person or for them as needed.

AnnMarie added: “As a charity we are committed to use proceeds from donations etc to provide additional free care to service users usually if terminally ill.” For more details about the charity, contact the Crossroads Mobile: 07946 838389
