There was anger on Facebook to our story last week about litter problems on the old Largs road to Greenock.
Marjory Scollin Brown, who lives in Brisbane Glen, said: “It looks as if they have left the rubbish in black bin bags. Do they not realise that the wildlife will just rip them open and then probably be harmed in some way going through the rubbish? If they bagged it up surely it could be easily taken to bins somewhere.” And Emma Squirrelking added: “It never ceases to amaze me the ridiculousness of some people who will transport rubbish miles away instead of just going to the tip or,you know, putting it in their own bin. Same goes for people who dump empty bottles etc they are lighter than when they were full so just carry them to a bin!”
