A Largs businesswoman will be speaking at a ‘Working Digital’ event in Park Hotel in Kilmarnock this month.

Toni Dawson of Sugar and Spice will be one of the guest speakers, and she will be joining Amber Atherton, owner of cult online jewellery boutique myflashtrash.com and former star of TV show ‘Made In Chelsea’ at the event.

The business event takes place from Tuesday 23 September until Thursday 25 September.

The three day summit has another local connection in that one of the partners delivering the digital masterclass is Largs man Gary Ennis, managing director of digital agency NS Design.

Hootsuite, IBM, Glasgow 2014’s Digital Manager Paul Giblin, Cyber Security expert Michael Williamson, and Guerillia Marketing group Kommando will also deliver talks.

They’ll be joined by carefully selected, fast growing Ayrshire businesses including Thorne Travel, elite personal trainer Ricky Singh.

Largs businessman Gary Ennis, Managing Director of digital agency NSDesign, which has partnered with East Ayrshire Council to deliver the event, said, “This is an incredibly high calibre line up, the like of which has never been assembled at any event in Scotland before.

The knowledge and experience that these business owners bring and the advice they’ll share on how to benefit from digital makes this year’s ‘Working Digital’ an absolute must attend for tickets are free but spaces are limited. This year’s Working Digtial is subtitled ‘Adopt A Digital Attitude’ and aims to encourage businesses to embrace the possibilities offered by digital technologies. This includes websites, social media campaigns, and innovations to engage mobile consumers.

Each Working Digital session will follow the themes of ‘Teach Me’, ‘Show Me’ and ‘Inspire Me’ with a mix of ‘how to’ demonstrations, workshops and keynote speeches followed by question and answer sessions.
