Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a motorcycle and a Peugoet car on the A78 trunk road in Fairlie.
The incident happened near the junction with Kelburn Avenue and the petrol station on Saturday morning at 11.25.
A 23 year old woman driver of the car sustained minor injuries, and was released following treatment at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
A 31 year old male motorcyclist was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmanrock and released following treatment, also for minor injuries.
Enquiries are continuing, and witnesses are asked to contact Saltcoats Police Office on the phone number 101.
