This year’s Yuletide Night will take place on Thursday 4 December and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Many local businesses and organisations will be taking part in the parade and there will be entertainment on the street from the Boys’ Brigade Pipe Band, the Evangelical Choir, the Salvation Army and the Rock Choir, plus a bouncy castle and kiddie rides.

Additionally, indoor entertainment is planned in many cafés, restaurants and pubs, and, weather permitting, charity stalls will be setting up on the streets.

Father Christmas will once again have a special grotto, complete with wheelchair access, in what was Cafe Bon Bon in Aitken Street. The grotto will also be open at weekends prior to Christmas.

Duncan Conner, proprietor of the Bus Stop Toy Shop, and Explore Largs have been working together to create a special magical Christmas in the town.

Duncan said: “We hope everyone will come out and support the event whatever the weather and local businesses will help create a truly magical evening for all the family.” More details of the Yuletide night will be released in the “News” over the coming weeks.
