Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery in Largs earlier this year.
A man and his teenage daughter were put under a state of fear and alarm after they were allegedly threatened at gunpoint in their own home in Glen Avenue on 24 August.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We can confirm a man has been arrested and is currently detained in police custody in connection with the incident.
"A report would be sent to the procurator fiscal."
