Colleagues of the Bank of Scotland branch in Largs will take on the challenge of collecting 100 Easter eggs, as part of their community effort to benefit the North Coast foodbank.

From Monday 16 March until Friday 27 March, Bank of Scotland colleagues will be calling on the community to donate their Easter eggs in the branch, to provide support to North Coast foodbank. The donated Easter eggs will be given to less fortunate children across our area who would have otherwise go without.

Sarah Lamont, Customer Service Assistant, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to work together with the local community to give to the Food bank. They do a tremendous job for the local area and we would love to help support them and raise awareness.

"I decided to organise this collection for the foodbank because It’s great to know that every egg we can donate will make a difference to children in our local community."

If you would like to make a donation, please pop into the branch at 32 Main Street Largs from Monday 16 March to Friday 27 March.

The North Coast foodbank covers Largs, Fairlie, Millport, Skelmorlie and Cumbrae.
