A drugs bust took place in a Largs street on Sunday.
Police officers attended a house at Holehouse Court, Largs, in possession of a warrant, and as a result, a male aged 31 was arrested for 'various drug offences'. Police obtained a search warrant after gathering intelligence.
In a recent survey, police found that residents in the the north coast area including Largs believed that drug dealing and drug use is one of district's biggest concerns.
The police survey said: "Residents told us they had concerns about the level of drug dealing and drug misuse within the area and the negative effect this has on the community."
