The latest information on the town’s development plans will be discussed at a meeting in Largs later this month.

Explore Largs will be holding an open BID meeting at 6pm on Tuesday 29 September at JG Sharps. All BID levy paying members are invited along.

Willie Wood, the chair of board of directors of Explore Largs, will be hosting the meeting, along with many of the board of directors, made up of local businessmen and women who give up their time and experience free of charge to help develop the business potential of the town.

John Hamilton, the BID manager, will review and update the latest and on-going work of the BID, from TV advertising and festivals to business support available for BID Levy payers, as well as discussing the forthcoming yuletide night and the latest information on the town’s future development plans.

Mr Wood said: “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the meeting, and importantly, hearing questions and suggestions from the local business community.” He continued: “There is a lot happening in Largs and we want to share all the information we have to keep everyone up to date on the latest developments and their potential benefits for the town and its businesses.” People requiring additional information should speak to the Explore Largs street ambassadors.
