THE famous MV Balmoral is making a triumphant return to the Clyde for the September holiday weekend.
The Balmoral, the National Historic Ships Flagship of the Year 2016, is fully licensed for more than 600 passengers, with open decks, heated lounges, bars, a self service restaurant and a souvenir shop.
She will be sailing from Largs Pier to Rothesay and Loch Riddon on Friday, September 23.
The Balmoral will cruise past the famous Kyles of Bute heading to the peaceful loch, leaving at 1.30pm and back at 4.40pm.
There will be a special sailing from Largs to enjoy the Millport Illuminations on Saturday, September 24, departing at 6.50pm and returning at 9.20pm.
You can enjoy the party aboard Balmoral with live music and stop off on Cumbrae to enjoy the light show. Or you can continue on board and cruise Millport Bay, viewing the illuminations and light show.
On Sunday, September 25, you can join the Balmoral on a cruise to Rothesay. You can spend some time in Rothesay or stay on board and enjoy the rare opportunity to sail right round the island and the world famous Kyles of Bute. This sailing leaves Largs at 1pm and returns at 5.40pm.
Then on Monday, September 26, there will be a cruise to Kyles, Lochranza and Skipness Castle.
Again, you can visit Rothesay, stay on board to sail past the Kyles of Bute and visit Tighnabruiach or cruise over to north Arran, viewing Inchmarnock Island and visit Lochranza.
Alternatively, stay on board and enjoy the full cruise, crossing to Skipness Point and viewing Skipness Castle.
