Cumbrae Primary Gym Hall was packed to capacity on Friday 16 December as the entire school and the early years class performed their Christmas nativity "Straw and Order".
The story was intermingled with songs which were wonderful and it was amazing how all the pupils remembered and delivered their lines, especially the younger ones.
The singing was beautiful and the last song with P7's harmonies brought the roof down. It was an exceptional nativity by the children at Cumbrae Primary.
Head teacher Miss Sharman thanked everyone for coming including the staff and the children, saying she was really proud of them.
The children also performed their nativity again at a lovely service for Cumbrae Parish Church worshippers. They were particularly amazing as many of the parts had to be quickly re-arranged and they all did wonderfully well.
