Opening its doors for the first time this week is the all inclusive Inverclyde Sports Centre after an impressive £12m makeover thanks to the Scottish Government and sportscotland.
Cumbrae Primary School were the first school group to try out the new facilities at Inverclyde Sports Centre when it opened.
The older children in the pictures are young leaders from Largs Academy. The others in the pictures are Natalie Murray, Active Schools Co-ordinator, North Ayrshire, and Martin Hickman, Paralympian and Vice Captain of the Scottish Cerebral Palsy football team.
The stunning building is the first of its kind in the UK, providing a residential sports training centre designed with inclusivity in mind.
Inverclyde provides " world-class indoor and outdoor sports facilities and accommodation for users of all levels of physical and sensory ability from schools and clubs, to performance athletes and the local community."
