Cumbrae Primary 5-7 recently visited the Kelpies, and thankfully the sun was shining, and the children had a wonderful time.
The Cumbrae Primary School Handball Club runs on a Wednesday afternoon from 4pm - 5pm. This club is run by two S3 pupils from Largs Academy - Abby Cathcart and Jennifer Wilson. The girls are doing a fantastic job at coaching them on their handball skills!
And P3/4 enjoyed their trip to Amazonia - Scotland's indoor tropical rain forest packed full of exotic animals. The children had a great day consolidating their learning of the rain forest.
Amazonia is a temperature controlled tropical house, home to over 70 different species. Amazonia is themed on the Amazon rainforest in South America, the largest rainforest in the world.
Cumbrae pupils got the opportunity to marvel at our monkeys, parrots, snakes, frogs, tarantulas, butterflies and more
