Millport’s Premier Store has raised £650 in donations for the families of the Grenfell Tower Fire tragedy in London.
The store stated: “In support of those affected by the recent tower block fire in London we set up a donation bucket in the store. All donations no matter how small were gratefully received.”
Stephen Dobbin, owner of the shop, told the ‘News’: “The money will be donated to The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation who are leading the response in the local area.”
Kind-hearted people in Largs also contributed to the campaign to provide clothing and toilteries to the families affected.

A&M Rothesay Removals picked up the goods handed into the Gallowgate Square shop and transported to Richard Healey Removals Ltd in Beith for onwards distribution.
