Cumbrae Dramatic Club had a very successful third performance of their summer playhouse 2017 on Monday July 17 in the DA Hall. The two short plays ‘Coffee Break’ and ‘Little Grimly Presents Strictly Sex Factor (on ice)’, both by David Tristram, went down a storm with the audience. The cast of ‘Coffee Break’ are Kirstin Metcalfe and Mary Currie, and for ‘Little Grimley Presents’ - Lyn Burtt, Scott Watson, Jackie Wilson and John Orr. Both plays are produced by Lyn Burtt, and prompted by Kirstin Paterson. Andrew Watson is in charge of lighting and sound, and is assisted by Kirstin Paterson in staging. The club are delighted to welcome two young stage hands, Megan Kennedy and Leo Sinclair, to the playhouse shows this year. The next performance is on Monday July 31 at 7.30pm in the D.A Hall. Tickets cost £5 for adults, and £3 for children, and are available at the door with a free programme. Each play contains strong language. The final performance is on Monday August 8.
