Poetry inspiration in one of the narrowest houses in the world!
Calling all poetry lovers who have a humorous poem to read! The Cumbrae Contemporary Poetry Society invites you to attend a session of rollicking fun at ‘The Wedge’ in Millport at 11am on September 23. Jack Muir will be your host and there will be an abundant supply of coffee and cake.
Don’t eat too much as the entrance becomes an exit that is the narrowest house in Britain at 47 inches wide but you are welcome to bring an abundance of humour with you. It will also be an occasion to celebrate National Poetry Day which is on 28th September.
‘The Wedge’ is at Stuart Street on Millport seafront next to the Round Island Cafe - just follow the blue plaque.
