Frasers Bar in Millport has once again been voted North Ayrshire pub of the year by the campaign for real ales (Camra).
The island pub previously won the prestigious award in 2013.
Delighted owner Alisdair Miller said: "The competition now moves on Ayrshire and Wigtonshire pub of the year so fingers crossed."
Members of Camra had their social event in Frasers on Thursday where the award was presented.

A Camra spokesman said: 'Real Ale is a live product which matures and conditions in the pub cellar.  Looking after it is not rocket science but it does require a bit of tender care by the cellarman.  Luckily for the connoisseurs of beer in Millport there is such a person in Alasdair Miller, Landlord of Frasers Bar.  The discerning drinkers of North Ayrshire have recognized Alasdair’s expertise and voted Frasers Bar as the North Ayrshire Real Ale Pub of the Year.

"The award is made by the Campaign for Real Ale, CAMRA, and recognizes pubs which consistently sell quality Real Ale as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere.  This is the 2nd time Frasers has taken the award and it now goes forward to the next round of the competition to find Britain’s Top pub.
