Millport is gearing up for another busy year of festivals and including a new ‘all day music extravaganza’.
The Happy Daze Festival takes place on Saturday 23 June, and includes total of eight bands, and DJs.
The ticket only event includes the following: Resurrection - Stone Roses tribute, High Flying Carpets - Noel Gallagher High flying Birds tribute, Screamareplica - Primal Scream tribute and Happy Mondaze - Happy Mondays tribute.
Other bands listed include Seaside Sons, Wartime Coats, The Method One and Caulder,
DJs include 808 State Daz and Alex Carnabay. Cumbrae Comedy Festival returns for its third year on 20-21 July.
Another big day on the festival calendar is the Millport Classic Cars Festival which is coming back for a fifth year on Saturday May 13.
The new look Country Music festival is moving back a week, and will return on 7th, 8th and 9th of September.

Last year’s event includes some big names including The Shires (pictured above by Alan Cawley), with a benefit event for the victims of Hurricane Harvey after headline act Mark Chesnutt was forced to cancel.
Other events include the Cumbrae Gala Queen, Scooter Rally, and the September illuminations later in the year.
