Good Friday marked the Walk of Witness in Largs and Millport.
The centrality of the Cross and the celebration of the Good Friday message across the denominations, provide the opportunity for a united witness to the people of our nation.
Many towns and villages already hold walks or marches of witness, and Largs and Millport were no different.
It was also a case of hellos, and goodbyes.
Father Eamonn Flynn participated in his last Walk of Witness before he retires from the Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, whereas it was the first Walk of Witness event for Reverend Jonathan Fleming of St John's Church and Cumbrae Parish.
The area also had a number of early morning sunrise services on Easter Sunday including Largs, Skelmorlie, Fairlie, West Kilbride and the Isle of Cumbrae to celebrate that Jesus has risen again.
Thanks to Charlie Gilmour for the Largs pictures, and Alan Cawley from the pictures of Millport.
