The 'News' stepped in to help save the day for island businesses cracking up over the state of their crater covered roads in Millport as the Easter holiday season approached.
As we reported last week, the main thoroughfare of the town was littered with large potholes and has resulted in residents besieging North Ayrshire Council via Twitter.
Island businesses including The Dancing Midge were demanding drastic action from the powers that be, and we put their points directly to local authority road chiefs.
