The Daughter of legendary American singer Glen Campbell is to take the stage at Millport’s Country Music Festival.
Ashley Campbell will join the Saturday line up, playing the Nashfield stage along with Jesse Dayton and Robert Vincent.
Whilst the daughter of a famous singer, Ashley is a rising country star of her own right, releasing her first solo album ‘The Lonely One’ only last month, which went straight to the top 10 of the UK Country chart.
The rising star had put her career on hold for the past seven years to look after her dad who passed last year, however is ready to return to the stage with UK fans already in tow.
As an accomplished banjo player, she had played with her father during his farewell tour and gained her own fan following.
The country music festival will run from Friday September 7 to Sunday September 9.
