TV entertainer and actor John Barrowman, and his sister, Carole, were presented with pictures of Millport to celebrate the launch of their new fantasy children's book "Hollow Earth".

TV entertainer and actor John Barrowman, and his sister, Carole, were presented with pictures of Millport to celebrate the launch of their new fantasy children's book "Hollow Earth".

The fantasy novel is based in a fictional island which is based on Greater and Little Cumbrae, and includes many familiar place names in Millport and Largs.

    It is a very well written book, narrating the adventures of 12 year old twins with the "ability" to bring to life works of art and their own drawings. The book is a best seller and can only encourage families to visit both Cumbrae & Largs.
