Brewery to be sited at Garrison

The Cumbrae Development company are providing premises at The Garrison to accommodate the proposed brewery business on the island

Long term proposals for a Cumbrae Brewery based at the Garrison look like they are coming to fruition.

According to the recent Cumbrae Community Development Company minutes, the Garrison will be used to host part of the brewery under the plans which were revealed last year in the 'News'.

The proposed brewery, which is the brainchild of islanders Jack Horn and Steve Batty, is hoping to use the new business centre.
