Island GPs set date to quit

ISLAND husband and wife doctors Bryson have announced that they will leave Cumbrae in 2013.

This emerged at a public meeting in Millport Town Hall, hosted jointly by Cumbrae's Public Reference Group and NHS Ayrshire & Arran, to discuss health and social care on the island last week.

The purpose of the meeting was to share with the local community the key themes to emerge from the recent survey of people's views; to give an update; and to highlight the key role of the Public Reference Group as the review gathers pace.
