Urgent repairs have had to be carried out at Cumbrae Parish Church, resulting in Christmas services having to move on location.

Sunday morning service at 11.45am will be carried out at the DA Hall.

Next week’s services will all be conducted at the Age Concern Hall at the Garrison grounds including Wednesday 24 December, 11.30pm Watchnight Service, and the Sunday service on 28 December at 11.45am.

Last Sunday’s service took place at the DA Hall building.

All services therafter will be a the Age Concern Hall until further notice.

There are proposals for a new Cumbrae Parish Church - earmarked for what is currently farmland to the east of Cumbrae Primary in Bute Terrace - include a multi-purpose hall, ancillary meeting rooms, creche, offices, utility areas and associated parking. The fundraising group have been submitting grant applications for the new build.
