The Millport community flower show will be held this year on Saturday 15 August in Millport Town Hall and combines this with a fun day for all the family. Doors open at 2 for a 2.30pm start.
The club are looking for new entries from across the community, beginner or experienced. The activities include children’s competitions, the best dressed child as a scarecrow, and the best dog competition. Other classes will be arts, crafts, flowers, fruits and vegetables.
There will also be a vintage tea-room on the day. The competition entry free of £3 allows unlimited entry to any class and also membership for the 2015/16 Millport Garden Club. The full programme is available at most Millport stores around Millport.
