Magic Meg! Millport man John F. Kennedy is pictured with his pet dog, Meg, winner of the Largs and Millport Pet Idol. John wins £300 for the entry, and has close connections to the Royal British Legion, and yes, it is his real name! He has even been questioned about his namesake connection when travelling to the United states in the past, and even has a daughter called Jacqueline.
John is pictured with his partner, Beth Burns, and his well known dog who takes part in Millport Legion parades on the island with him!
John quipped: “I am a parade marshall on the Royal British Legion in Millport, and Meg is a very willing participant in all our marches and parades. I would like to personally thank everyone who voted for Meg, and filled out coupons, and handed them in. He is a very well known dog on the island!
