During the September Weekend celebrations on Millport, Cal Mac put on a replacement smaller vessel when the Loch Riddon was taken off the run for operational reasons - to cover a festival in Mull.
But the replacement MV Isle of Cumbrae ferry suffered a broken ramp which led to delays as cars had to reverse onto the boat, said the Cumbrae Ferry Users Group.
