Come and join the No Poo on My Shoe float in the Viking parade!
Calling all children ... The No Poo on My Shoe group will play a central role in this Saturday"s Viking parade.
The group have invited all local children to march with the No Poo on My Shoe float and there will be small gift for each child who joins Bingo the dog in the event.
They will be positioned at the front, immediately behind the dignitaries, and are representing everyone in Largs, ie. businesses, parents, children, residents. It is hoped that the 'No Poo on My Shoe' song "Pick It Up" sung by local schoolpupils will be played during the event.
Chairman Maureen Muir of the No Poo on My Shoe group said: 'Children can come dressed as anything to do with our campaign eg. police, warden, dogs. If they don"t want to come dressed they can still come along and give us their support. We will have some costumes and balloons.'
Children and parents should be at the Morrisons roundabout about 1.30pm with the parade beginning at 2pm.
