POLICE IN TOWN CENTRE DRUGS SWOOP

At lunch time today (Thursday) community officers arrested a 32 year old local male on warrant in Aitken Street, Largs
He was taken to Greenock Police office where he was discovered to be in possession of a quantity of Class 'A' drugs believed to be heroin with a value of £500.
He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday charged with possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

Note to ed... can you please follow up on these cases then name and shame post conviction. We all need to unite to run these bar stewards out of town, by whatever means required.
Well done to the local constabulary - yet again. Superb stuff, boys.
Note to dealers.. If you pondlife want to live in a filth-hole that tolerates this kind of garbage, where kids are exposed to hard drugs solely for your financial benefit, why not try a town where people don't care and kids are invariably going to end up junkies anyway? 13 miles North, East or South - take your pick. Just get out of Largs - we know who you are and we do not want you here regardless of where you were dragged up or who your parents are.
Note to publicans / businesspeople / property owners.... Stop allowing these scum patronage at or in your place of business. It's a crime to serve a known drug dealer alcohol.
Note to Joe Public.. If you think the drug problem is relatively minor in Largs, drive by the junkie bus in gateside st on a Tiuesday Night. I was horrified.

This is what we like to see!! Have to admit, local polis are getting there. Taking time, but maybe the message will get across. Doubtful, but I live in hope
Too much lowlife nonsense caused by only a few, making life horrible for the many. Unfortunately I've had to clear up after their mess and have lived in worry (not any more, thanks to the local Polis) of this scum. Oh, wait... the scum are the victims in our society, aren't they? How silly of me for being decent and law abiding :)
Maybe in addition to the above comments... an address of the convicted aswell as a name and a photo?

Drugs are as old as the Human Race, plants growing naturally from the Earth,
including the ingredients of alcohol and medications, they can be beneficial or harmful,
each has to be assessed accordingly. A "ClassA" drug is BAD NEWS in general, according
to established statistics but "DRUGS" and "DEALERS" should be re-defined (for acceptance)
and be appropriately regulated for the pleasure/safety of everyone.
ENOUGH HATRED, if recreational, soft drugs (rather than tobacco) were made available
this situation would probably not have arisen. The previous contributor could do well
with some form of recreation to calm his savage spirit.

Detendre, you sound like an individual trying to justify your habit. I may be wrong. Let's not soft soap this. These people are cretins. THey suck the moral fibre from any society and should be branded as such. I have no qualms about paying to watch a public flogging of these people.

Detendre, it doesn't matter how DRUGS & DEALERS are re-defined - scum will always be scum. End of story. By the way, have you ever cleared up used needles and had to paint blood-splattered walls from these so-called citizens? Thought not.
