Cannabis swoop on West Kilbride house

Police intelligence has managed to locate the cultivation of cannabis plants at a property in Ritchie Street, West Kilbride, last Thursday evening at 9.30pm. A 34 year old man has been reported in connection with the discovery.

In other local crime reports there was an attempted break-in at the Oaks vet surgery in Lade Street, Largs last Thursday. There was a forced effort to try and open the rear door to the veterinary surgery but the alarm was activated and scared off the intruder.
