Local ferry fares will become cheaper

Road equivalent tariff will be rolled out to the Largs-Cumbrae ferry the local MSP has stated.

In reply to criticism from local Labour politicians Mr Kenneth Gibson, SNP MSP for Cunninghame North said RET would come to the Clyde to make travel cheaper for islanders.

In a statement to the 'News' Mr Gibson scoffed at a claim by local Labour councillor Alex Gallagher that the Scottish Government would sell off the local ferry route.
