Anger over A78 coastal road closures
Jobs are being put at risk by the regular road closures on the A78 between Largs and Skelmorlie, it has been claimed this week.
Angry readers of the Largs and Millport Weekly News say that more needs to be done to aid residents following the recent storms which closed the A78 between Largs and Skelmorlie. On several occasions, the road has been shut as a combination of high tide and flooding has led to the road being completely impassable, and, last Tuesday, the road was closed from 7.30am until 4pm as time was taken to clear all the debris from the A78.

Report commentWell would they rather take their chances? Maybe they want the government to have a word with the weather? Or perhaps they could look at a weather forecast and consider waking up and leaving the house earlier in order to deal with detours. But that wouldn't do, why take responsibility when you can blame someone else?
