TV entertainer and actor John Barrowman, and his sister, Carole, were presented with pictures of Millport to celebrate the launch of their new fantasy children's book "Hollow Earth".

The fantasy novel is based in a fictional island which is based on Greater and Little Cumbrae, and includes many familiar place names in Millport and Largs.

Pictured from left are Margaret Kennedy of the Royal George Hotel and I.O.C.T.A., her granddaughter Megan (who has been in correspondence with the authors), Ross Goldie, Chairman of Cumbrae Community Development Company, John and Carole Barrowman, Charles Kelly and June Allison.
