Oil fears at Hunterston

Scottish Power have denied an oil leak near Hunterston will cause environmental damage after a member of the public raised concerns with the 'News'.

We received an email last week from a worried local resident who said: "I wondered if you knew much about the work going on at the moment to repair oil leaking from the pipe that surrounds the high voltage underground power cable at Hunterston?"
