When 'Little and Large' graced Largs bay

It was a case of the 'Little and Largs' show as a photo on our Facebook displayed the Waverley steamer next to a massive cruiseliner on the Clyde from a few years ago.

We are now fast approaching 2100 followers on our site at www.facebook.com/largsandmillportnews with archive photos, breaking news and scenic pictures featuring on a daily basis.

The grand picture of the cruiseliner and the Waverley on Largs bay certainly attracted plenty of talking points. Denise Mclean remarked: "What an amazing photo."

Janet Ross agreed: "It is a fantasic photo; it is so nice have these big cruise liners on the Clyde especially when then they pass in front of Cumbrae as the view is then spectacular."

Colvin Houston topically joked: "In a few years, the 'Big Yin' will be on its side near an Italian port while the Waverley carries on regardless! Great picture."
