West Kilbride, Millport  Fairlie, and now Skelmorlie are complaining about the scourge of dog dirt.
Local dogwalker Jamye Lee Walker took to some of the social Skelmorlie social media websites to raise awareness of the issue.
Jamye said: "As a dog owner I am absolutely disgusted with the amount of dog fouling that is going on. Many who leave it go out late at night or early in the morning to avoid it but that's just part of the problem. Some people have different members of the family walking the same dog and not everyone clears up after them.
"There is no excuse at all for this so if someone is taking your dog out make sure they have bags and know they need to do it.
"As said before free dog bag are available in the Spar shop which is open every day, and the library which is open Monday, Thursday morning and Friday."

In Fairlie, Marion Back said last week: "I had to run the gauntlet of dog poo on the pavement in Bay Street this morning. I talked to someone at the Council and they will clean it up, which is great, but doesn't address the root problem. There are other measures they can take."

And since then, new dog warning signs have been spray-painted in Bay Street in Fairlie and George Street in Millport.

And West Kilbride is also up in arms over the scourge of dog dirt on their streets.

A campaign group which says that West Kilbride are furious about people who are refusing to clean up after their dog are holding a meeting later this month.
'Clean it Up West Kilbride' and the 'No Poo On My Shoe' group are meeting on Tuesday 23 February at 6.30pm in the community centre. For more information please email cleanitupwk@gmx.com or just come along on the night.
