A fantastic charity day in Skelmorlie raised over £3000 for Crohns Colitis UK Clyde group.
Skelmorlie woman Wilma Little, and her friend Lynn came up with having a busy day of events in the village to raise funds for the important charity.
Wilma, who has Crohns disease, said she has been overwhelmed by the goodwill and support shown by the public and businesses for the event.
The busy day of activities included football, fashion, live music and much more. Skelmorlie Skanks performed a gig in the evening, while there were raffles, prize draws and a darts competition.
The total raised for the charity day was £3300, while a further £750 was raised at Wilma's work - the RBS mortgage centre Greenock - after staff have arranged a dress down day. Watch out for photos from the Skelmorlie Charity Day in next week's paper.
