Largs and Skelmorlie recently celebrated 100 years of scouting with a stage show to fellow members in the region.

To mark this occasion of the centenary, all cub scouts in Great Britain renewed their promise at 7.16pm on Friday 16 December and it was only fitting that everyone came together for the special milestone.

The Skelmorlie and Largs cub packs went to a party at the Volunteer Hall in Irvine with 300 other cubs and leaders from North Ayrshire.

The Skelmorlie Cubs with help from four scouts and four Explorer scouts entertained all at the party with a mini show on the night.

This proved to be a big hit with all the district members, and the group are back rehearsing and intend to perform a show in Skelmorlie within the next few months.

Pictured in the photo are the cast in the dressing room before they went on stage.
