Dog dirt

Angry residents have again taken to social media to bemoan the situation in Skelmorlie regarding dog's dirt. One grandparent said: "This is getting ridiculous...seriously sick of it I'm trying to ensure my grand-daughter walks on the pavements, yet in Annetyard, Seton Terrace and Castle Road it's impossible, if she falls she could be blinded, as could any other kid..if this was your child you would soon take notice. Grow up & clean up."

Sponsored climb

Skelmorlie firefighters are carrying out a sponsored climb at the fire station to the height of Everest - 8848m - in aid of the Ardgowan Hospice. Sponsor forms are available in the pub, shops, and the doctor's surgery.
