Are you content with being just a happy snapper?

Do you have a collection of stunning photos stored on your mobile phone/camera that are destined to remain there unseen for the foreseeable future?

Imagine having the skills not only to take amazing photographs but also to be able to transform them into something really special. Imagine having the confidence to produce high quality prints mounted by yourself and shown off to best advantage in your own home for all to admire.

Skelmorlie Camera Club offers a unique opportunity to start your journey to better photography.

Last year the club was involved in North Ayrshire’s Participatory Budgeting Event and was delighted to receive a generous award which helped to fund the Jessops Academy training programme. It also allowed he club to invest in new technology and take advantage of the broadband in the local community centre by streaming the latest photographic techniques from the internet.

The club is affiliated to the Scottish Photographic Federation and takes in members from West Kilbride to Inverkip.

Find out more at their Open night, which will be held on Tuesday September 26 at 7.30pm in the Skelmorlie Community Centre. (Alternatively you could drop in to the Skelmorlie Community Centre’s Open day on Saturday 7th October between 11am and 3 pm where the club will have a stall).
