The Attic Players are delighted to announce that they will be performing as part of this year's Scottish Community Drama Association One Act Festival!

Their entry is Walter by Murray Schisgal, is directed by Stewart Phillips, and will take place on Friday 23 February at the Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock.

The scene is a funeral parlour, where Laura Katz (played by Donna Laing) has come to view the body of her late husband, Walter. As it happens, Walter was a chronic philanderer and Laura takes her chance to let him know how she feels. The funeral director, Norbe (played by William Clark-Ferguson) offers some support but he isn't averse to "playing around" either which proves to be a bit of an eye-opener for Laura!

The Inverclyde round of the SCDA One Act Festival will feature productions from a variety of drama groups and runs at the Beacon from Wednesday 21st - Saturday 24th February (the Attic Players will only be performing on the 23rd). Tickets are available from the Beacon or via its website: https://uk.patronbase.com/_BeaconArtsCentre/Productions/28J/Performances

Winners of this round of the competition will be announced on the Saturday and will go through to the Western Division final in March. Fingers crossed for the Attic Players!
