A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in a pub.
A 28-year-old man suffered a serious chest injury during the incident at the Mechanic Arms on Drum Street, in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh, on Sunday afternoon.
He was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary, where his injury was not thought to be life-threatening.
Police Scotland said a 60-year-old man was arrested in Essex on Wednesday and has been charged over the incident.
He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
