Police are on the hunt for a man who reversed over a female officer in a hit-and-run murder bid.
The wanted male driver was stopped in Sighthill as part of an ongoing investigation.
He spoke to police regarding their inquiries before suddenly reversing the car onto a female officer and dragging her along the street.

The car then made off, leaving the officer shaken but unhurt.
The incident is being treated as attempted murder.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 1pm on Tuesday March 28, officers on Alford Street in the Sighthill area spoke to a man in a red Astra.
“The vehicle then reversed and carried the officer a short distance.
“She was unharmed and did not require medical treatment.
“The man left the scene and we are now following a positive line of inquiry.”

The incident is the second of its kind after two police officers were hit by a car in Knightswood last year.
Police constables Deborah Lawson and Robert Fitzsimmons were struck by a Nissan Qashqai leaving them severely injured.
