Wemyss Bay is to get its own Post Office service beginning from January 26th 2017 at 1pm.
The new branch will open at the Spar shop on Ardgowan Road and is part of a new programme of modernisation and investment which is taking place across the Post Office network.
The P.O will be one of their new style local branches with a low-screened, open plan service point integrated into the retail counter.
It will be possible to pre-order travel currency at the premises.
Customers will be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside their regular retail purchases.
The Post Office opening hours will be Monday-Saturday 7.30am till 9.30pm, and Sunday 8.30am till 9.30pm.
Wendy Grant, Network Operations Manager, said: "The new service will offer long opening hours, with the Post Office opening hours mirroring the retail businesses."
