Visitors and residents on Cumbrae were treated to an impromptu tight walk rope by a mystery performer during the good weather this week.
In fact, the artiste wowed the crowds by walking across the balancing wire between both the slip and the pier not once, but twice, showing excellent balance and poise, to the amazement of people watching on including Robin Leckie who filmed this video.
He joked: "The circus has come to Millport harbour! It is amazing what you see from your window.
"He was just there long enough to see what you can see and then he was gone."
The performer was Rich Pearson, who owns a slackline school in Somerset, and he was visiting Millport to give a presentation to schoolchildren on slacklines, and how it was good for the core of the body, using balance and poise.
