Fairlie Fairtrade Initiative will have a pop-up stall in the Gallery, Wemyss Bay Station, on Saturday 9 December, 10am - 4pm. Christmas cards and gifts, unusual artisan crafts from around the world, new flavours of fairtrade chocolate, and sweet treats to taste and to buy."
BOLLARDS
The pavements in Inverkip have been resurfaced and the bollards promised for the pavement between the bus stop and the old Police Station have been put in place.

Largs and Millport Weekly News:

The placing of the bollards had raised some eyebrows. It was intended that they would stop cars parking on the pavement at this spot, however there is still room for at least 3 cars to park there which they have been doing since the resurfacing was carried out. Granted there is some space for pedestrians to pass but the position certainly hasn’t deterred the motorists. Wednesday morning was a case in point. Van parked on pavement with door open and mother with pram had to come onto road to pass. Young lad sitting in van paid no attention or bothered to shut the door.
INVERKIP CHURCH
The installation of a new sound system and screens has been carried out in the Church. This has not met with everyone’s approval!. The congregation will no doubt get used to the innovation.
The total of boxes for Blythswood Appeal from Inverkip was 72 boxes. Thanks to all who contributed.
